Dear GRIN users,
We have been receiving messages like ' my GRIN disappeared', 'my GRIN is missing', ' I can't find/see my GRIN balance', or something similar from North American users.
First of all, don't be panic, your GRIN is not missing. We are using the same technology provided by GRIN officials and integrating it into our wallet. Vite wallet is decentralized and only accessible by seed phases.
For the issue mentioned above, it's because of the poor synchronization with our node server.
To solve it, it's highly recommended to synchronize manually. You can do as following:
Go to your Vite wallet> GRIN > click the top right three-dotted icon and select check, this will synchronize to the grin Network.

Things you need to remember:
- Do not close your wallet and keep the app open while syncing.
- The synchronization could take 15-30 minutes depending on your internet speed and your location because our provided node is in Asia. The farther you are from the node the longer the synchronization may take.
If you reproduce an error while syncing, please try again until the sync result is successful. Once you have successfully connected, the next one re-sync is done almost instantly.
